Kickstarted by the Vinnova project Foraging Games and Prior work on game desigtn tools, the project looks into how we can support and explore creative processes.

Continued work on exploring movement interaction that is mediated through sound and how people explore themselves but also spatial relations.

A Vinnova funded short term collaboration project between American University’s Mark Nelson and Gothenburg University (me) to deepen and explore prior work on creative casual game design tools and how generative AI can support/hinder the development of such tools.

An EPSRC Equitable Digital Society project exploring co-design of technologies with intergenerational groups in rural and under-supported areas such as Cornwall and the South-West of the UK.

Arts Council England funded work exploring how sonification of movement can shape the creation of new movement and interaction between participants.

Research into novel design and interaction metaphors for social robotics, including low-cost robotic design, embodied agents and social robotic guidelines for care settings.

A project supporting older adults through technology to enhance quality of life, led by the University of Stirling with University of Plymouth involvement.

ERDF-funded work supporting eHealth innovation in the South-West of the UK, including evaluation of technologies and scientific support for companies.

A University of Plymouth internal grant exploring cross-faculty collaboration and fMRI data visualisation through a high-resolution physical brain model using an LED matrix array.

Research and prototyping around non-tech-centric sound-based connection between dancers using Raspberry Pi, microphone arrays and local sensing.

AI-driven approaches for content creation in game environments, including fluidic games, Wevva and GameJam studies.

A framework and design methodology for game-agent behaviour design, action selection and biomimetic behaviour arbitration.
